Year 9 Camp

RISE LOUD, STAND PROUD
There was plenty of excitement this week as our Year 9 students headed to Noosa North Shore for their highly anticipated camp!
With wet weather threatening to dampen plans, a sea of cheers erupted when students discovered camp was still going ahead, with one very welcome change: cabins instead of tents.
Throughout their Personal Best (PB) lessons this year, students have been exploring their chosen theme, “Rise Loud, Stand Proud”, a message they proudly carried with them to camp on their specially designed t-shirts.
With connection, teamwork and resilience at the heart of the experience, students embraced a range of challenges and adventures, including canoeing, rock climbing, archery and team-building activities. Each experience provided an opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, support one another and put their PB learning into action.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms Courtney Daniec for her leadership of the Year 9 PB program and camp this year, and to the staff who generously volunteered their time to accompany and support our students throughout the experience.
Rain or shine, Year 9 certainly found plenty of opportunities to Rise Loud and Stand Proud!
