Wishing the Graduates of 2026 Every Success

As our Year 12 students begin their External Examinations on Monday, we wish them every success as they take this important next step in their journey.

The preparation for these examinations has been a significant undertaking, reflecting months and years of hard work, commitment, and perseverance. It has also been supported by a collective effort across our college community to ensure each student feels prepared, confident and supported as they approach this final stage of their senior schooling.

Throughout the year, students have been provided with a range of opportunities to strengthen their knowledge, refine their examination skills and build confidence. These have included Growth and Improvement Meetings, Academic tutorials and workshops, Trial (Mock) Examinations and detailed feedback, after-school Academic Mentoring, Peer Study Support Sessions, and the additional learning opportunities offered through Mt Academy. Most importantly, our classroom teachers have continued to guide students through their learning, providing explicit instruction, targeted feedback, encouragement and opportunities to consolidate their understanding.

As students move into the examination period, maintaining consistency will be important. We encourage our Year 12 students to continue with the study routines and strategies that have served them well, use their time purposefully and remember that effective preparation also includes looking after themselves. Finding balance between focused study, adequate rest, physical activity, time with family and friends, and the strategies that help them manage stress will support them to approach each examination feeling as prepared as possible.

We are grateful to the many staff who have contributed to this preparation, as well as to the families who have supported our students along the way. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to approach their examinations with confidence and a strong sense of purpose.

To our Year 12 students: we are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success as you begin your External Examinations. Stay consistent, look after yourselves, take each examination one step at a time, and know that your college community is cheering you on every step of the way.
