Scone Challenge Fun

On Thursday 17 October, a group of LESC students joined members of the Lakes Entrance Senior Citizens Centre and Op Shop for their annual Scone Challenge Fundraiser.

In the morning, students baked their own scones, which were later collected and judged before everyone came together for a lovely afternoon tea with club members. It was a fantastic community event filled with laughter, delicious scones, and plenty of friendly competition!

Congratulations to Year 10 student Olivia, who took out the win in the student section — an amazing achievement!

The day was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with community members across generations, while supporting a great local initiative.
