Congratulations, Zeppelin!
Last weekend, Zeppelin Allan proudly represented the Lakes Entrance Golf Club at the East Gippsland Junior Country Club Teams Event, competing against more than 200 talented junior players from across the region.
Over two days of tough competition, Zeppelin showed great focus and determination, scoring an 89 on Saturday and a 99 on Sunday. His consistent effort earned him an impressive 3rd place overall, a fantastic result in such a strong field.
We are really proud of Zeppelin’s achievements and the way he continues to represent LESC with such great sportsmanship. Well done, Zeppelin!
LESC Athletes at State Championships
On Monday, Cooper Rogerson, Alexis Smart, and Jackson Cheesley proudly represented Lakes Entrance Secondary College at the School Sport Victoria State Athletics Championships.
This event brings together the best student athletes from across Victoria, and our three competitors did the college proud with their effort, determination, and outstanding results.
- Alexis Smart ran a fantastic 1500m, finishing 6th out of 16 in a very competitive field.
- Jackson Cheesley also claimed 6th place in Javelin, showing great consistency and skill.
Cooper Rogerson had a brilliant day across multiple events — finishing 8th in Long Jump, placing equal 2nd in High Jump (6th after a countback), and achieving 5th in Triple Jump with a new personal best of 12.11m.
We are extremely proud of Cooper, Alexis, and Jackson for the way they represented LESC at state level. Their commitment, sportsmanship and achievements are something to celebrate.

LESC Athletics Day
The weather held out perfectly for our annual Athletics Day, and it was fantastic to see so many students giving it their all on the track and field, while cheering on their house teams with plenty of energy and spirit.
After a full day of competition, the results were
1st – Albatross 🔴 2nd – Gannet 🟡 3rd – Kingfisher 🔵4th – Pelican 🟢
A huge congratulations to Albatross House on taking out the win, and well done to all students who participated and contributed points to their teams, every effort counted!
Age Champions will be presented with their medals at our next Whole School Assembly.
