Wellbeing Day 2025 Success

On Tuesday 14th October Lakes Entrance Secondary College held their Annual Wellbeing Event. The theme of the afternoon was ‘Keeping Safe Together’. We held an engaging and fun afternoon, whilst promoting the amazing services and organisations available to support our students, and our school community; ultimately highlighting our ability to keep safe together.

The HEY Project from Gippsland Lakes Complete Health offering badge making

Victoria Legal Aid ready to help students understand their legal rights when it comes to Police, Sex, Young People and the Law, and Drugs and Alcohol

Gippsland East Local Learning and Employment Network (GELLEN) offering the opportunity to experience Virtual Reality with VR Headsets

The iConnect team from Relationships Australia with temporary tattoos, and an opportunity to have a dance

The Navigator Program from Uniting running giant Jenga and big games

The Smith Family running 10 Pin Bowling, and lolly guessing

Headspace fully stocked with give away prizes once students spun the big wheel and answered a question

Victoria Police keen to have a chat and decorate a cup cake with you

Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault (GCASA) creating a Blob Tree using air dry clay

East Gippsland Shire with Youth Ambassador information, Tote bag decoration, and polaroid photos

Our VCE VM students hosting a basketball activity, down ball, oversized Jenga, and chatterboxes

Our Student Leadership Council showing students how to make their own stress balls, and hosting the passport/raffle table.

Students were provided with paper passports, which were stamped as they rotated through the stalls. Once a student presented a fully stamped passport they gained entry into a raffle.

A number of local organisations generously donated prizes for our raffle.
