Wominjeka from WVC. 

I hope you have all had the opportunity to visit the tiled area in the Undercroft. 

The children at Malvern Primary have been designing and decorating a tile each since last year. 

We are very excited to see that they have now been cemented and grouted into place along with our donated park bench seat from Coles The tiles will have a special seal put on them this week.

This area is our connection to our indigenous heritage and our way of acknowledging the Wurundjeri people, traditional custodians of the land our school is on. 

Our Acknowledgement to Country will be on a plaque.

This wonderful area could not have happened without the amazing efforts of our Art teachers, Mrs Jenkinson and Miss Rose. Thank you.

The cementing and preparation of the area was completed by Andrew Ericksen, an ex Malvern Primary School student and his company Carrara Construction Group. 

The tiling has been completed by Brady Tiling.

Our park bench seat was kindly donated by Will Tehan and Coles.
