Year 3 Crazy Critters

Here above are some of our Year 3’s Crazy Clay Critters. Students from 3A, 3B & 3C have been learning how to design, model/sculpt, join, under glaze and gloss glaze to create these amazing artworks (all based around a standard pinch pot). There has definitely been a burst of energy and excitement around this activity and students have enjoyed their ‘messy art’ experience topped off with discovering the vibrant and glossy colours when first viewed coming out of our kiln. If you get a chance these Crazy Critters, together with some Year 4 Coil Pots will be on display in the Senior Arts Room Windows over the next couple of weeks.
