A list of student's who received 'Student of the Week' this week 

Student of the Week- Week 7

Visual Arts - Arabella 6A (Be a Learner) Arabella created an outstanding ‘Balloon Dog’ out of modelling clay. Her technique and attention to detail was impressive. Additionally, Arabella is always respectful, focused and shows great pride and integrity in Art.

Congratulations and well done Arabella!

 

6A - Uday - You are a quiet achiever who always strives to do his best. You are consistently courteous and have shown strong understanding throughout this term’s testing, achieving excellent results through steady effort. Well done Uday, keep up the great effort!

 

5A - Nahwah (Be a Learner) for being a quiet, respectful, and patient learner who consistently tries her best in all that she does. Nahwah approaches her learning with a positive attitude, shows kindness towards others, and demonstrates perseverance when completing tasks. Her thoughtful and dedicated approach to learning makes her a valued member of our classroom.  

5C - Moses (Be Safe) As a responsible member of 5C, Moses ensures that his peers are cared for and supported, inside and outside the classroom. He welcomes and encourages new members and is a valued friend of all. With kindness and compassion, Moses displays leadership qualities that promote a safe learning environment for all. Congratulations Moses.

 

4A - Zoe T (Be a Learner) Awarded to Zoe for always applying her best efforts to the task at hand. Her work presentation is excellent, and she always shows enthusiasm, responsibility and takes pride in her learning. Congratulations Zoe!

4B - Mario (Be a Learner) for contributing more of his ideas to class discussions. It was wonderful to see Mario share his thoughts and participate in our learning conversations. Keep up the great work, Mario! 

4C - Mackenzie (Be Respectful) This award is for consistently being a kind and thoughtful classmate. Mackenzie, not only have you welcomed 4C’s new student with open arms, but you also always choose kind words when speaking to others. Your kindness helps make our classroom a warmer and more welcoming place. Great work, Mackenzie! 

 

3A - Jasper (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in his learning this week during Writing sessions by focusing on researching and writing about an animal for his information report. Well done, Jasper, keep up the great focus!

3B - Adrian (Be a Learner) for showing great pride and enthusiasm in your learning this week. You have put in a tremendous effort which shines through your Maths work. Keep up the fantastic work, Adrian! 

 

1A -  Sofia (Be A Learner) for showing a positive attitude towards learning, improved focus during class activities, and thoughtful contributions to class discussions. Your growing confidence and willingness to participate are wonderful strengths to see each day. 

1B - Harlem (Be a Learner) for showing wonderful pride and enthusiasm in his learning this week. His excitement for tackling longer, more challenging texts has been fantastic to see, and he approaches each new task with genuine curiosity. Keep up the great effort, Harlem!

 

FA - Ayra (Be a Learner) Ayra has continued to work hard on all her learning tasks. She starts her work promptly and is beginning to ask for help from her teachers and peers when unsure. Keep up the great work Ayra!

FB - Kyro (Be Respectful) Kyro has been showing the expected behaviour of lining up at the right time and in the right place (attendance roll order) throughout this week. He was also observed helping other students to pack up, without being asked to. Well done, Kyro.

                    Student of the Week- Week 8

Visual Arts - Doxa FA (Be Respectful)  Doxa showed amazing cooperation, teamwork and collaboration whilst working with his group to construct a puff sculpture.  He followed all of the instructions and supported his classmates enthusiastically. Congratulations and well done Doxa!

Chinese - Pareeshay 5A (Be a Learner) has demonstrated improved engagement in Chinese lessons and approaches her learning with a positive attitude. She takes great pride in the presentation of her writing tasks, consistently producing work that is neat and carefully completed. She is also a supportive class member who willingly assists her peers, helping others to achieve success and contribute positively to the learning environment. 

 

6A - Ava - Ava, you have shown resilience and persistence in the last couple of weeks. Although you have been unwell, you have managed to come back to school, work productively and complete  a myriad of assessments (receiving great results). You have done such a great job, well done Ava!

6B - Aleks for working hard across all subjects, consistently completing all tasks to the best of her ability, and making thoughtful contributions during class discussions. Great work Aleks, keep it up. 

6C - Nesan for being an upstander this week, Nesan, you really showed kindness by thinking about how others were feeling and choosing to do the right thing in a way that made people around you feel supported and cared for. Well done Nesan. 

 

5A -Allen (Be a Learner)  for the significant improvement she has shown in reading this term. Allen has worked hard to apply reading strategies and engage thoughtfully with a range of texts. Her persistence and positive attitude towards learning have helped her make excellent progress. Keep up the great work, Allen! 

5C - Christina P (Be a Learner) for always aiming high with her dedication and continual focus towards her learning. Christina is an active participant during class discussions and regularly asks questions to enhance her understanding of new concepts. She is quick to settle into table activities and focused on completing her work in a timely manner. Christina works well in collaborative groups and regularly ensures everyone is included. Well done Christina!

 

4A - Youssef (Be a Learner) for showing pride in his achievements and taking great care with his work. The presentation that he places in his Seesaw tasks and book work is commendable. He sets the standard for others to follow. Well done Youssef! Excellent efforts!

4B - Tupu (Be a Learner) for settling so smoothly into DPW this term! He has been a dedicated learner who always strives to do his absolute best. Well done, Tupu, for being a respectful and enthusiastic member of our classroom community!

4C - Tram (Be a Learner) for showing growing pride in her work and making a wonderful effort to do her best. It has been fantastic to see her confidence and care continue to grow. Great work, Tram!

 

3A - Charlize (Be a Learner) for demonstrating focus during independent reading this week. Well done, Charlize, it’s great to see you being a learner and trying your best. Keep it up!

3B - Simrandeep (Be a Learner) for putting in a tremendous effort in all learning areas this week. You have made incredible progress with your learning, especially in mathematics when sharing collections. Keep up the fantastic work, Simrandeep!

 

2A- Gabriel ( Be a Learner) for improving his whole body listening during mini lessons and his focus during independent learning tasks. Gabriel’s improved listening skills have supported him in contributing great ideas during class discussions. Well done Gabriel!

2B - Hailey (Be a Learner) For her dedication to learning by approaching all tasks with effort and enthusiasm. Hailey always strives to do her best, welcomes feedback and works hard to improve as a learner. Keep up the wonderful effort Hailey! 

 

1B - Elshania (Be a Learner) for her focus during independent reading time. She stayed fully engaged, avoided distractions, and used the entire session to real read. Well done, Elshania!

1C - Emilia (Be a Learner) for her fantastic effort with her reading and writing this week. Emilia always completes her work to a high standard and enjoys being challenged. Great job Emilia!

 

FA - Herol (Be a Learner) Herol has shown great focus with his learning this week and as a result has achieved some great results! Keep it up Herol!

FB - Radvin (Be a Learner) This week Radvin displayed a positive attitude and improved listening skills. During Math lessons, he found several different ways that he could make 10. Keep up the good work! 😊
