Beeripmo Hike- Year 10 Outdoor Education

Beeripmo Hike- Year 10 Outdoor Education
On Thursday 11th and Friday 12th September, the Year 10 Outdoor Education class undertook a overnight hike along the 20km Beeripmo Hike in Mt Cole State Park. Despite facing wet and cold weather conditions over the two, the group displayed outstanding resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
The hike began with a steady ascent through the forest which is still recovering from the bushfires in 2024. With persistent rain and a steady incline students were required to dig deep and support one another. Campsite setup in damp conditions tested their problem-solving and adaptability, yet spirits remained high.
Throughout the 2 days, students encouraged their peers, took on leadership roles, and worked collaboratively to ensure everyone stayed safe and motivated. Staff were particularly impressed with the group’s teamwork and positive attitude throughout the hike.
