The Year 11’s have been exploring the influence that immigration has had on Australia’s Multicultural Cuisine. Students choose a country to research, taking particular interest in the flavours, typical dishes and how this country has influenced the food available here in Australia. Using their country, students were tasked to create a ‘Nourish Bowl’ that reflect the foods and flavours. From Mexican Bowls, to souvlaki inspired dishes and handmade dumplings, the Year 11s had the kitchens smelling DDDEEE-licious!
