Year 7 Humanities

This term, our Year 7 students have been travelling back in time to explore the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt as part of their History studies. In a hands-on and memorable experience, students stepped into the shoes of ancient embalmers—crafting model organs, wrapping their classmates as “mummies,” and reciting prayers from the Book of the Dead to guide their pharaohs safely into the afterlife. It was a fun, engaging way to bring the past to life and deepen their understanding of ancient beliefs, rituals, and daily life.
