The Holy Spirit Swim Team proudly represented our school at the recent District Swimming Carnival held at Tintern Pool, competing against strong opposition from across the Ringwood District. It was a fantastic day of racing, with our swimmers demonstrating focus, resilience and outstanding team pride in every event they entered.
Throughout the carnival, our team produced a number of impressive individual performances, with several swimmers earning top three finishes in their events. Our relay teams were a highlight of the day, showing excellent takeovers, composure under pressure and true teamwork in the water.
While ribbons and results are always exciting, what stood out most was the way our students conducted themselves. From encouraging teammates behind the blocks to giving their absolute best through the final stretch of each race, they represented Holy Spirit School with maturity and sportsmanship.
A special congratulations to our 12 Girls Freestyle Relay team who progressed through District and proudly competed at Division level — a fantastic achievement. Congratulations also to Arianna, who qualified for Division in an individual event and represented our school with determination and class.
Thank you to Beck and her daughter Tilly for their help coaching the team and to our families who cheered loudly from the sidelines.
Congratulations to our 2026 Swim Team members:
Grade 6: Arianna P, Madie L, Eloise W, Lyla P, Summer M, Eve T, Ethan T

We are incredibly proud of each and every swimmer for the way they embraced the challenge and supported one another throughout the day. What a wonderful representation of our school community! 🏊♀️🏊♂️
