Learning together as one community
Congratulations to our Years 3 & 5 students on successfully completing NAPLAN.
We are incredibly proud of the way they approached the assessments with focus, resilience and a positive attitude. It has been wonderful to see students giving their best effort and supporting one another throughout the process.
We cannot wait to share our results with you when they arrive later in the year.
Well done to all involved!
We will be offering the ICAS English and Mathematics assessments for students in Years 3–6 again this year.
These optional assessments provide students with an opportunity to challenge themselves and apply their skills in a different context, focusing on higher-order thinking and problem-solving. ICAS also offers valuable feedback for both students and teachers, helping to identify strengths and areas for growth.
Further information, including how to register, will be shared with families shortly.
Over the next couple of weeks, our teaching staff will be involved in Term 2 planning sessions. This is a valuable opportunity for teachers to work together to review student data, reflect on learning, and plan engaging and targeted programs for the term ahead.
As a result, teachers may be out of their classrooms at different times, with classes supported by familiar and experienced staff. We appreciate your understanding as this important work helps ensure the best possible learning outcomes for all students.
Our Term 2 curriculum focus will be Health, with a key idea of responsibility. Across the school, students will engage in learning that supports them to make informed choices, develop independence, and take responsibility for their wellbeing, actions and learning.
We are excited to introduce our Student Representative Council (SRC) members for this year. Our SRC students play an important role in representing the voice of their peers and contributing to our school community.
Throughout the year, they will work together to share ideas, support school initiatives and help make our school an even better place for everyone.
We look forward to seeing their leadership, teamwork and commitment in action. Congratulations to all of our SRC representatives!

Congratulations to Rosie, Charlie, Georgia and Tessa who will be part of our 2026 Student Leadership Team. We are proud of you!!
