Principal Report

Mr. Lehane

Welcome Back to Term 2

I am glad to see everyone return safely after the school holidays and what was a much needed break after a busy first term.

We would like to warmly welcome River and her family, who joined our school community this term. River has done an amazing job settling in, making friends, and is already well liked by both her peers and staff.

Well done, River, and welcome to Bridgewater Primary School!

SunSmart

We have been very lucky with the nice warm weather and it has been fantastic to see all of the students wearing their hats. As of today (1st May), our SunSmart Policy no longer requires students to wear hats. Hats will be sent home so parents can wash them and keep them safe until mid/-August.

Junior Fun Day & Cross Country

The Loddon Calder District School Sports Cluster held our annual Junior Fun Day and 3-6 Cross Country at Malone Park in Marong last Wednesday, 22nd April. It was a beautiful sunny Autumn day, enabling our younger students to intereact with our cluster schools and and our grade 3 to 6 students to perform their personal best on the crosscountry track.  Some will be going onto the next level, competing at the Bendigo Race course against all Regional schools. The students that qualify have been notified, but would like to take this opportunity to congratulate their efforts.

Students who qualified are: Odin, Marley & Emily
