Principal's Report

And so we begin another year, but not just any year - this is history in the making! Our two campuses are finally operating as planned, with all our Year 7-9 students at Kildare Campus and our Year 10-12 students at Brigidine Campus. Students have arrived to the school year full of energy and a spirit of generosity. I thank our staff for all of their planning in preparation of the school year and look forward to another wonderful year of learning and growth at St Joseph's College.
This year we are implementing three routines for learning and teaching. These simple routines have been introduced across all classes and all year levels to help support teachers, students and families build a strong culture and shared expectations around behaviour and learning.
I had the privilege of visiting our Year 12 retreat sites earlier this week and as always, I admire our students' willingness to get involved, enjoy their time together and express their gratitude. The final year of schooling is an exciting but also often anxious time for our Year 12 students and participating in this event helps them to prioritise their goals and set themselves up for a successful year.
