What was your first day at School/GEPS like?
- My first day at this school was actually during my work experience in 2012. I remember feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, but I was immediately welcomed by a supportive staff and a warm school community. That experience confirmed for me that this was a place where I could grow and truly make a difference.
What are 3 words to describe your school Journey?

What is something new you've learned this year?
- This year, I’ve deepened my understanding of how to support diverse learners. I’ve also learned the importance of student agency—giving students more voice in their learning leads to stronger engagement and outcomes.
If your learning journey was a vehicle (rocket, bike, boat etc) what would it be and why?
- My journey would be a rocket. It started with a strong launch during my early experiences here, and over time it has continued to accelerate, taking me through new challenges, opportunities, and growth. There have been moments of turbulence, but each one has pushed me further forward.
If you could go on an adventure anywhere, where would you go and who would you take with you?
- I would go on an adventure around the world, exploring different cultures. I’d take my family, so we could learn and experience new places together.

- It would be a Ferrari because I want to go as quickly as possible to feel that I am making a positive impact at GEPS.
If you could go on an adventure anywhere, where would you go and who would you take with you?
- We had planned to go to Lebanon in July with my in-laws and with all the cousins, but the trip had to be cancelled due to the war. I love going to the Lebanon because it is so different to Australia and the family and people we meet are so kind, warm, fun and hospitable. I also love the mountains. This is where I would go and always with my husband and three children.
