Welcome back to Term 2! The 5/6 Dreamers have had a fantastic start to the term and were full of excitement as they returned to school. It has been wonderful to see students reconnect with their friends, share stories from the holidays, and settle back into classroom routines with such enthusiasm.

Over the past few weeks, we have been exploring celebrations around the world. Students learned about different cultural traditions and then created their own vibrant posters to showcase their understanding. They worked hard to include key information, thoughtful details, and eye-catching designs. The classroom has been filled with colour and learning as we celebrated the diversity of traditions across the globe.

In Mathematics, students have been focusing on decimals and percentages. They have been developing their skills in understanding how these concepts relate to real-life situations, building confidence through problem-solving activities and class discussions.
A big focus this term has also been on building connections and community within our classroom. Through group activities, discussions, and collaborative learning tasks, students have been strengthening their relationships, showing respect, and supporting one another. It has been fantastic to see such positive teamwork and a strong sense of belonging growing within the class.

We are so proud of the way the 5/6 Dreamers have started the term and look forward to an exciting and productive few weeks ahead!
