SRC News

There has been lots of excitement around the Highvale Secondary College community this term, with students getting involved in a range of fun and meaningful events planned by the SRC.

Harmony Week was a huge success, with many students participating in Kahoots, drawing their national flags and animals, and enjoying amazing cultural performances that celebrated the diversity of our school. The Colour Run also brought great energy and school spirit, with high participation and plenty of colour and laughter throughout the day.

Looking ahead, the school community can get excited for upcoming events such as the World’s Greatest Shave fundraiser, which will include a bake sale and Just Dance activities with some teachers also participating.

Year 7 students are also encouraged to apply to become SRC representatives and have their voice heard in SRC as applications are now open via compass. In addition, the new suggestion boxes have now been completed, and we are now waiting for forms to be created so they can be distributed around the school and so people can share their ideas and voices around the school.
