Prep/1 Steiner

We have had a wonderful start to the term immersing ourselves in the world of numbers during our Main Lesson ‘King Maximo and the Number Knights and Ladies.’ We have been exploring the qualities of numbers, investigating patterns, counting and problem solving. 

In literacy we are continuing to expand our sound knowledge, engaging in independent reading and having a go at writing our own texts. 

Our Student teacher Ruby has been getting us thinking about animals, their homes and their needs. This has linked back to what we have been learning with Emily in the Garden.
