The Commonwealth Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) allows eligible children basic dental treatment over a 2-year period. This can be accessed during school hours via the services of a school dental van, which are fully equipped to perform examinations, x-rays, fillings, scaling and cleaning, as well as apply preventive medicaments and extractions.
