🥅 🏑 Stick Skills and Team Spirit

On September 3rd, our Year 8 and Intermediate Hockey teams took on Lilydale Heights Secondary School in two exciting matches.

Year 8 Match 🏑

The Year 8s fought hard from the first whistle. Early on, Levi Brown scored the opening goal, lifting team spirits. Lilydale Heights struck back to even the score, and with just 3 minutes remaining, their star player managed to sneak in two late goals.

Our Year 8s gave it their all and should be proud of their efforts - we can’t wait to see what they bring next year!

Intermediate Match 🏑

The Intermediate game kicked off with a fantastic goal from Riley Neaves. The defensive line held strong, blocking multiple attempts, while Jordan Hacket and Aiden Peet put in a huge effort as goalkeepers. Despite their determination, Lilydale Heights came away with the win.

A big well done to all players - your teamwork and sportsmanship shone through.

👏Special thanks to Jack Hourihan for stepping in as assistant coach!
