SRC HIGHLIGHTS

🌟 VicSRC Congress 2025 

On Thursday, 11 September, a group of enthusiastic students attended the 20th annual Victorian SRC Congress in Fitzroy North.

They engaged in meaningful discussions with students from across Victoria on key topics, including:

• Equitable Access to Education
• Definitions of Success
• Mental Health & Wellbeing
• Inclusive & Accessible Education

A lot of notes were taken, and hopefully some solutions were created! Well done to our team for representing LHS so thoughtfully and making the most of a great learning experience. 👏

🎶 Good Vibes, Great Cause 

On Wednesday 17 September, our SRC hosted a fantastic Fun Day at lunchtime, raising an incredible $409 in support of R U OK? Day! 

A huge thank you to Woolworths Lilydale and Bakers Delight Kilsyth for their generous donations that helped make the day possible.

🍬 Congratulations to Ms Mouratidis, winner of the Guess the Jelly Beans competition with a guess of 1440 (so close — the actual total was 1449!).

🎶 Thank you to ABC (Ari, Ben, and Callum) for performing on the PAC Deck and creating such a vibrant atmosphere.

👏  Special thanks to the SRC team for organising such a brilliant event — with live music, games, prizes, and of course, the ever-popular sausage sizzle! 

🌭  Shoutout to Mr Huby and Jed for doing a fabulous job on the BBQ.

It was a truly amazing day of fun, community, and support — well done everyone!  💛
