📖 BOOK WEEK 📖

Each year across the country, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) brings children and books together through the celebration of Book Week. This year’s theme is 'Reading is Magic’.

At SJV, we will be celebrating Book Week in Week 9(Monday 9th of September - Friday 13th of September). 

Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book characters or as something related to the theme on Monday the 9th of September. There will be a whole school parade from 2.30 - 3.10pm. Parents/guardians and younger siblings are most welcome to attend the parade!!!

On Tuesday the 10th of September, all students will be invited to participate in a workshop with New York Times Bestselling author, Adam Wallace!!! Adam will talk about his books, share some of the writing techniques and lead some crazy cartooning exercises. Feel free to some time checking out Adam's website before his visit :)

During Book Week, we will be hosting another Lamont Book Fair! From Monday afternoon onwards, students and families will be invited to visit the Library and see all of the wonderful books available to buy. The students will also visit the Book Fair with their teachers and classmates.

There will also be plenty of Book Week activities and competitions happening throughout Book Week in the Library!!!
