Vinnies Youth Corner

Young Vinnies Update
Our Winter Blanket Appeal is now underway! As the colder months settle in, we invite our community to make a meaningful difference by donating any gently used blankets and sleeping bags. A quick search through your cupboards could provide warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
In Week 11, we’ll celebrate your generosity with a fun Interhouse Structure Building Competition, where donated items will be creatively transformed into imaginative displays before being delivered to Kelmscott St Vincent de Paul for distribution.
🏆 Cartoni Cup points will be awarded for:
- The most creative structure
- The highest number of blankets donated
Thank you for your continued support in helping us care for our wider community this winter.
Wool Donations
While you’re sorting through cupboards, please also consider donating any leftover wool. These donations will be used by our students and Mercycare residents to knit and crochet scarves for those in need—another wonderful way to spread warmth and kindness this winter.
Community Kitchen
Our Community Kitchen program continues on alternate (odd) weeks, providing a great opportunity for students to come together, cook, and give back.
