ACC Fun Run

What an incredible day we had at the Fun Run! With 32 of our Diversity students taking part, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, encouragement, and plenty of happy energy from start to finish.
Our students truly gave it their all, pushing themselves to their endurance limits and showing real determination and grit along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone challenging themselves, supporting one another, and celebrating each achievement—big or small.
A massive congratulations goes to Tani, who absolutely dominated the race! In an extraordinary effort, this talented Year 7 student outpaced competitors up to six years older, finishing at least 200 metres ahead of the pack. What an outstanding achievement, well done, Tani!
After the run, the fun continued as our students joined others from neighbouring schools to take part in a variety of games and activities. It was a fantastic opportunity to build new connections, share laughs, and enjoy some friendly competition. We are incredibly proud of how our students represented Lumen Christi, displaying excellent sportsmanship, kindness, and inclusivity throughout the day.
To top it all off, the day concluded with a delicious sausage sizzle, lovingly prepared by our very own Lumen Christi staff and SRC students. It was the perfect way to relax and celebrate a day full of effort and achievement.
A heartfelt thank you to our Student Representative Council for their ongoing support and assistance throughout the event, you helped make the day run seamlessly!
All in all, it was a joyful, energetic, and memorable day for everyone involved. We couldn’t be prouder of our students. What a wonderful reflection of the Lumen Christi spirit!
