The school holidays are a distant memory now and we are into the busy pace of the school term. The zones of regulations that we used during the school holidays can also be useful when we look at how we start our day. Getting a good start to the day can make a significant difference to our whole day! Here are some hints how you may be able to help your children. Here is how to match them where they are in the morning:
Being organised the day before with bags, clothes and lunch boxes (as much as possible), can also reduce the morning stress. This allows the focus to be on providing a calm and nourishing environment. Breakfast is a very important step in how we begin our school day as it when we “break” the over night “fast”. Our students need to come to school ready for learning and physical activity. For more information on the importance of eating a healthy breakfast, including in other languages, visit The Raising Children Network Here.
Stay health, stay happy,
