Parents' and Carers' Assoc

The Parents' and Carers' Association had our final meeting of the term. We reflected on the great initiatives that have been put in place this year and discussed plans for Semester Two.

Community Connection Evenings!

The PCA are planning two social events for Term Three. They will involve an after-school event for parents, carers and children to enjoy time together as well as a Parents and Carers ONLY Trivia Night at the bowls club. Please keep an eye out on the usual communication channels to find out more. If you would like to be involved in organising either event, please contact Erin, Laura or Beau.

Mitch-Cafe

We are delighted with how parents and carers are connecting at our "Mitch-Cafe!" It is such a beautiful space for people to get to know one another and build genuine friendships. A reminder that these occur after assembly in the staffroom. Tea, coffee, biscuits and great company are a guarantee.

School Gates

Families have been enjoying being able to spend more time in the yard after school with each other and then exiting via Tirana Gate. A friendly reminder that staff do need to lock the Mitcham and Bowling Green Gates as close to 3:30 as possible as they have meetings to attend immediately following this time.

Information Nights

Parents and Carers had asked for more information nights about Mitcham Primary School. Our nights so far, including Literacy, Student Voice and Wellbeing have been very well attended and the school is pleased to announce that next term we will be hosting a session on Numeracy at Mitcham early next term. Again, keep an eye out for information about this event. We are planning a NAPLAN information session for Term Four.

Thank you!

We would like to thank you for always supporting our school in positive and constructive manner.
