Student Voice Preps

The Prep Teachers were thrilled to welcome the Student Voice Leaders into our planning session this week! As we prepare for Term 3, we’ve been gathering feedback on what the students are enjoying about their learning, what they would like to do more of and what changes they would like to suggest.

Our Student Voice Leaders collected these valuable insights from their classmates during class meetings. We’re excited to incorporate their ideas into our planning for next term!

The ideas were as follows:

What do you enjoy learning most about at school?

• Reading because we get to do fun crafts and activities.
• Writing because we can write about things we like!
• Maths because it is awesome. Especially when we get to throw and catch and do Maths with sports. 
• Assembly because we get to go on stage sometimes.

What would you like to do more of in our learning? 

• More games in Maths where we get to go outside with our learning. 
• Reading stories as a class.
• More Maths Playground.
• More assemblies, maybe Prep assemblies? 
• More reading to ourselves, like reading our readers. 

Is there anything that you would like to change about our learning?

• Art on Fridays.
• More PE lessons and getting outside!
• Something different in writing.. Free writing!

We are looking forward to a fabulous Term 3!
