MARVELLOUS MONICAN

Nathan Murer of 11 Emerald. 

Nathan is a dedicated and diligent student who consistently demonstrates his commitment to both academic and cocurricular pursuits. As an active member of the Sustainability and Environmental Club, Nathan has played a key role in maintaining the gardens, presenting environmental projects to local ResourceSmart schools and contributing to the planning of future projects during weekly meetings. He recently accompanied Mr Ben Coleman and fellow students to represent the College in receiving the ResourceSmart Schools Infrastructure and Operations Award, which recognises schools in Victoria for excellence in sustainable practices. 

Nathan is also a valued member of the Chess Club, representing the College in competitions and engaging socially. His engagement in the Politics Club is also to be recognised, where he participates in thoughtful discussions on both Australian and global political issues. 

Nathan is regarded by staff and peers as a welcoming and friendly presence in the St Monica’s community, truly embodying what it means to be a Marvellous Monican.
