WORK EXPERIENCE

St Monica’s College prevocational major students were exempt from completing examinations and were given the opportunity to undertake a nine-day work experience placement in an industry they hope to pursue as a potential career pathway. 

 

Students were able to:

  • Develop employability skills 

  • Explore possible career options 

  • Understand employer expectations 

  • Increase self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence

Site and phone visits were conducted. Employer feedback was positive and commended student performance on punctuality, enthusiasm and initiative when undertaking new tasks. Well done for an outstanding effort to all students undertaking work experience.
