Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences 📅👨👩👧👦
Our Term 3 Student, Parent and Teacher Conferences will take place on Friday, 11 September. If you have not yet booked a conference time through Compass, please do so as soon as possible. Bookings close at 4:00pm on Wednesday, 9 September.
As a reminder, this is not a regular school day. Students will attend school only for their scheduled conference and will be marked present when they do so. Families will therefore need to make alternative care arrangements for the remainder of the day if required.
To support families, Camp Australia will be operating an all-day program on Friday, 11 September and bookings can be made via their website. We encourage families to finalise both their conference booking and any required care arrangements.
New OSHC Provider Announced ☕🤝
As we continue to refine and enhance the programs and opportunities we provide for our students and families, we have recently concluded a thorough tender process to review the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program at Montmorency Primary School.
Following this process, we are pleased to announce the appointment of TeamKids as our new OSHC provider. TeamKids will commence operations at our school on Wednesday, 6 January 2027, with the Summer Vacation Care Program.
We are confident that TeamKids will provide a high-quality service for our students and families and look forward to working in partnership with them.
Over the coming months, families will have opportunities to learn more about TeamKids through a range of engagement activities, including a parent information session and a free coffee morning. Please keep an eye out for further information and upcoming announcements.
Hats Sunsmart Expectations ☀️👒
Now that we are into September and the UV levels are increasing, all students are expected to wear an approved Montmorency Primary School hat whenever they are outside. If your child does not currently have their school hat at school, please take some time to locate it and send it along as soon as possible.
From next week, students who do not have an appropriate MPS hat will be directed to remain in designated shaded areas during recess breaks. Thank you for your support in helping us keep all students safe while enjoying the outdoors during the warmer months.
