Inspire in 5 is a free science and engineering careers event for students in years 7-10 and their families. You will hear a series of 5-minute presentations from a range of women in STEM mentors working in lots of different industries and fields.
This event is perfect for students to hear about careers they might not have ever heard about! "What careers in STEM are out there for me?"

A three-day exploration of research, innovation, and STEM at Curtin University. Year 8 & 9 students engage with cutting-edge research, participate in hands-on workshops, and meet inspiring Curtin innovators to discover diverse STEM career pathways.

BinarX School Holiday Program 2026
Year 5 & 6
In January 2026 Curtin University will run the BinarX for Year 5 & 6 students. Through the 5 days participants will create scientific instruments and equipment to be carried on the Binar-5 cube satellite is being built at Curtin. These “payloads” will observe distant stars or the Earth’s atmosphere or other projects identified by the group.
