7 November Closing - Connect Equity Scholarships
The UWA Connect Scholarship is designed to make your university journey smoother and more affordable by connecting you with essential support. It’s tailored for students from diverse backgrounds, including regional, Indigenous, and disadvantaged communities, as well as those facing challenging circumstances.
UWA offers hundreds of scholarships, and with the Connect Scholarship, applying for multiple scholarships is simple. When you apply, you’ll be automatically considered for all eligible scholarships without needing to reapply for each one, saving you both time and effort.

Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship
The Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship is open to school leavers who have graduated in the last two years and are eager to explore positive change through technology.
This includes access to paid internship opportunities and inspiring mentors, and an international learning experience in Asia. You will also have access to unique networks of people who would otherwise be out of reach. Best of all, you'll become a lifelong member of Westpac 100 Scholars Network, an inclusive group of some of the brightest minds in Australia.

Bachelor of Digital Creative Industries
This new Bachelor of Digital Creative Industries evolves from Animation, Game Design, and Digital Experience Design, combining game-based methods, immersive experiences and screen production technologies. Previously offered within the Bachelor of Design, these majors will now expand under the new degree to better meet industry and government needs.

Curtin Science and Engineering
New in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours):
- Environmental Engineering: A new major centred on sustainable engineering solutions in areas such as land, water and waste.
New in the Bachelor of Science:
- Space and Planetary Science: WA’s only undergraduate degree in this field, offering opportunities to engage with NASA, ESA and JAXA. This course can be combined with Mechatronic Engineering or studied as an honours course.
- Environmental Biology and Ecology: A refreshed program (previously named Environmental Science) with a stronger focus on ecology, biodiversity and conservation.
- Environmental Science: A new major exploring climate change, natural systems and environmental management. This course can also be studied as a double degree, an honours degree, or as part of an Advanced Science degree.
Additionally, we have updated the names of some majors including Marine Science (previously Coastal and Marine Science), Mineral Processing (previously Extractive Metallurgy) and Food Science and Technology (previously Food Science).
