Year 11 Opportunities

Rotary Youth Exchange 2026 Applications
The Rotary Youth Exchange is one of the most remarkable opportunities available to senior students in Western Australia.
The biggest barrier is students’ own fear of homesickness or of the unknown. Those who have already taken part in the program will be able to explain what to expect to you.
Rotary wants you to be an ambassador for Australians as they work to foster friendship around the world.
Candidates need to be aged 15 - 19.
Students can go overseas and live with a family for a whole academic year.
- Short Term - programs range from a few days to a few weeks
- Long Term – spanning the whole academic year.
Contact your local Rotary club to see what exchange opportunities are available and what the application process involves.

Free Career Counselling at Unis
If you want to go to uni when you finish school, you can start to get to know the environment by going to see a career counsellor on campus.
- You can ask about different courses.
- Find what is new in the fields you like.
- Find out about different subjects (units) that you can take.
- Find what subjects you MUST study in your WACE as pre-requisite courses.
Most students go with a friend or family member. Just search for “career advice” at the university of your choice.
