Leader of Year 7 Wellbeing

Dear Year 7 Parents and Carers, 

Welcome back to Term 4! It’s hard to believe that we are in the final term of the school year and only a few short months until Christmas. 

Year 7 had an enjoyable start to the term with an excursion to Taronga Zoo. 

The excursion provided students with cross-curricular opportunities to consolidate what was learnt in the classroom. We thank the Science department for organising such a valuable learning opportunity for our students.

Mrs Hughes and Fr Brian Rayner 

have asked our students to donate clothes that will be sent on a container to Fiji. Please bring in the donations by 11th November so that these can then be sent before Christmas. We appreciate your generosity.

As we look ahead and approach the yearly examination block in week 5, please encourage your child to be proactive and organised for these important exams. You can encourage your child to place key dates in their diary, re-read their assessment notifications, revise class notes and texts and complete practice responses or formulas as a way to prepare. I wish all students the best for their upcoming exams.

Finally, I welcome back Mrs Rachel O’Connor who returns from long service leave in week 4.
