(Learning Diversity Leader)

As we move through Term 4, we continue to work in partnership with families to support students who require an individualised learning plan. These may include Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs), Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), Safety Plans (SPs), Student Adjustment and Evaluation Plans (SAEPs), and/or Medical Plans.

Your voice as parents and carers is invaluable in setting meaningful, strengths-based goals that reflect your child’s individual needs, abilities and aspirations. At this time of year, our Learning Diversity Team and classroom teachers begin planning for the transition into the next school year, considering the goals, adjustments and supports that will best support each student’s continued growth and success.

Over the coming weeks, please keep an eye on your Compass notifications for information about upcoming Parent Support Group (PSG) meetings. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to reflect on your child’s progress, celebrate their achievements and work collaboratively with the school to review and refine their PLP goals for the remainder of this year and the year ahead.

Once the booking link becomes available, we encourage you to select a suitable meeting time as soon as possible to help us accommodate everyone’s schedules. If you need assistance with booking or require an alternative meeting time, please don’t hesitate to contact the school or email me directly at stefanie.mcneil@motherteresa.catholic.edu.au

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting your child’s learning, wellbeing and success.

Kind Regards
