A message from Miss Russell

As We Wrap Up Term 3…
As we come to the end of another busy and exciting term at Hurstville Public School, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful students, staff, families and community for their continued support and enthusiasm. What a fantastic Term 3 we have had!
There have been so many wonderful moments to celebrate. From our Athletics Carnival and Book Week celebrations, to the many excursions and incursions that have enriched classroom learning, our students have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm.
Our Year 6 students have done an outstanding job with their fundraising efforts and our 150th Community Fair was another highlight and a wonderful example of the spirit and support that makes our school community so special.
We have also celebrated some terrific achievements beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to our debating team, chess team and our talented athletes who represented Hurstville Public School with pride and achieved some wonderful results. We are incredibly proud of the way our students continue to challenge themselves, support one another and make the most of every opportunity.
A huge thank you must also go to our dedicated staff, who continue to provide our students with such a wide range of learning experiences, activities and opportunities, and to our families for the many ways you support our school throughout the term.
As the holidays begin, we hope everyone has the opportunity to relax, recharge and enjoy some special time with family and friends.
Have a safe and happy holiday break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term at Hurstville Public School!

Reminder – Early Student Pick-Up
A reminder to all parents and carers that if you need to collect your child early from school, all early pick-ups must be organised through the Front Office.
Please enter the school via the Forest Road pedestrian gate and proceed directly to the Front Office. Office staff will contact your child’s classroom and have them come to the office to meet you.
For the safety and supervision of all students, parents and carers are asked not to walk through the playground or go directly to classrooms to collect their child.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students.
