Industry and Enterprise Program

In Week 8, students in the Industry and Enterprise Program will begin their first work placements across a variety of industries. Work experience is a valuable part of their learning journey, giving students the chance to apply and extend their classroom skills under the guidance of experienced employers.

We wish all students the very best and look forward to visiting them on-site.

Key Dates – Industry & Enterprise Work Placements

• Term 1: Week 8 – 16 - 20 March

• Term 2: Week 10 – 22 - 26 June

• Term 3: Week 10 – 21 – 25 September

• Term 4: Weeks 7 & 8 – 23 November – 3 December (Two weeks WPL – no exams)

Year 11 & 12 Workplace Learning

Students in general studies are encouraged to begin arranging their next work placement. Workplace Learning (WPL) information and paperwork will be distributed in the coming weeks. Many employers are already taking bookings for Semester 2, so early planning is strongly recommended.

Year 11:

• Term 2: Week 6 & 7: Monday, 25 May - Friday, 5 June (Boarders' long weekend in the middle)

• Term 4: Week 6 & 7: Monday, 16 November - Friday, 27 November

Year 12:

• Term 2: Week 6 & 7: Monday, 25 May - Friday, 5 June (Boarders' long weekend in the middle)

• Term 4: Week 1 & 2: Monday, 12 October - Thursday, 22 October
