What's On In 3/4

Athletics Day a Huge Success!

Our recent Athletics Day was a fantastic celebration of school spirit, energy and talent. With excellent participation across all year levels, students gave it their all in a wide range of events, from sprints and relays to long jump and shot put.

The day was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines. It was especially heartening to see the outstanding display of sportsmanship, students supporting one another, celebrating successes, and showing great resilience.

A big thank you to all staff, students, and volunteers who made the day run smoothly. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

A Fresh Start in the Kitchen Garden Program

We’ve kicked off another exciting term in our Kitchen Garden Program, diving into new recipes and preparing our food stations to cook delicious meals. It’s always a joy to share the fruits of our labour with our teachers, peers, and the fabulous volunteers who support us.

In the kitchen, we continue to learn so much from Deb. Her guidance helps us grow in confidence and skill with every session. Meanwhile, out in the garden, Ashley is helping us deepen our understanding of planting, weeding, harvesting, and the life cycles of the plants we care for.

It’s hands-on learning at its best! Healthy, fun, and full of flavour!

Tessellation Fun in Maths!

Late last term, we put our mathematical thinking to the test and got creative with tessellated 2D shapes. Using colour, symmetry, and a variety of shapes, we designed eye-catching patterns that combined both logic and artistic flair.

It was a fantastic way to explore geometry in a hands-on, engaging way which proves that Maths can be both fun and beautiful!

Level 34 Students Treated to a Terrific Drum Performance

Level 34 students and Mr. Den Elzen were treated to a fantastic drum performance by Harry. His rhythm and energy were truly impressive! Harry's passion for music lit up the place and had everyone thoroughly entertained. Well done, Harry!
