Push-Up Challenge

Alison Read

During the month of June, Monivae was invited to participate in Push-Up Challenge with assistance from Dan O’Keefe from Lifeline South West. All monies raised remain local to help fund valuable support staff to answer calls to Lifeline.

1 in 5 calls goes unanswered in our own local area, Issoudun felt that this was too many people unable to receive the support that they needed at crucial moments, so chose this cause as our fundraising activity for 2025.

Overall Monivae had 105 participants and raised $1,270 to support Lifeline South West.

Congratulations to Hartzer for completing the most push-ups and having the most participants.  Well done Issoudun for raising the most money.

Thank you to everyone who participated or contributed in anyway, especially to Dan O’Keefe who supported Issoudun to run this challenge.

We will run this activity again next year hoping to garner greater participation, competition and more funds to continue to support Lifeline South West.

Nationwide close to $13M was raised to support mental health.
