Dance Group Rebranding Lessons have commenced
Our dance practices with Shae Duncan are underway. Students are slowly learning a new dance and with hopes to learn 3 dances before the end of term. This new group has received a lot of interest from our students with over 35 students participating once a week.
With this many students and the small amount of time left until the end of term, we ask that parents encourage their child/ren to use the time wisely and fully participate to get the best out of their lessons.
Secondary Dance Group attend Moree Aboriginal Tracker Commemoration Ceremony
On Thursday the 8th of May our Secondary Dance Group was invited to dance at the Moree Police Station for the Aboriginal Tracker Commemoration Ceremony. It was a wonderful turn out with many present to honour the past Aboriginal Trackers of Moree. Our students got to enjoy a walk through the Moree Police Station and were commended on their beautiful dance that fitted with the mornings event.
National Sorry Day & Reconciliation Week
Please join us for our Sorry Day Liturgy on Monday the 26th at 10:15am followed by a BYO morning tea on the play ground.
Our Secondary Dance Group and other students have been invited to take part in this years Bridge Walk for Reconciliation on the 28th of May starting at the Dhiyaan Centre at 11am, walking over the bridge and stopping at the Tourist Infomation Centre where our secondary dance group will dance. If time prevails we will stay on for a BBQ lunch.
We need your help!!
We are looking forward to seeing the end product. We need students to start thinking of a dance group name in Gamilaraay Language.
Canteen
Recess and Lunch orders can be ordered on the Compass app. Please see the steps below for ordering. If emergency meals need to be dropped to the school, please take note of the students break times and have meals at school on time. This will help your child have a smoother day and not miss crucial learning in the classroom.
Primary Break Times -
Recess: 11am - 11:30am
Lunch: 1pm - 1:30pm
Secondary Break Times -
Recess: 11.10am - 11:40am
Lunch: 1:40pm - 2:10pm
