K- 2: Mr Huff Performance

Meerkat Productions delivered an entertaining and engaging adaptation of Anna Walker’s award winning book, ‘Mr Huff’ on last Thursday. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 watched and participated in the humorous performance whilst learning about their available support systems and possible strategies for dealing with a bad day. Students were part of the show through acting, asking questions, singing and dancing. It was a beneficial performance for everyone.

Year 5 - We are born to perform 

3, 2, 1… ACTION! Year 5 have been owning the stage whilst participating in their ‘We are Born to Perform’ Drama Unit. Across the first few weeks of Term 2, Year 5 has been experimenting with numerous performance elements such as characterisation and symbol, to create engaging and entertaining drama skits. Our Thursday afternoons are filled with theatrical performances with shining stars and actors in the making! Students will collaborate and create their own plays at the end of the unit, portraying their theatrical endeavors. Wonderful work Year 5!
