Year 12 News

Welcome back to Term 3! It's hard to believe we've reached this point in the year! With only one term content delivery, our Year 12 students are on the home stretch!

Term 3 is an important one as students begin to shift their focus towards exam preparation while continuing to complete SACs, coursework and practice exams. It can feel like a busy and sometimes overwhelming time but every class, assessment and study session is another step closer to achieving the goals that have been set throughout the year.

Now is a great time for students to continue to develop and refine consistent study habits, stay on top of deadlines and ask for help whenever they need it. There is plenty of support available from teachers and we encourage students to make the most of every opportunity to clarify concepts, seek feedback and build confidence before the end of the year.

For parents and carers, this can also be a challenging time as students balance school, work, extracurricular activities and planning for life after Year 12. A little encouragement, helping to maintain routines and checking in regularly can make a real difference.

Although the finish line is getting closer, there's still plenty to accomplish before then. We encourage our Year 12 students to stay positive, keep supporting one another, and remember that consistent effort over the coming months will pay off. It's also important to take time to look after their wellbeing, get enough rest and celebrate the small wins along the way.

We're incredibly proud of the resilience, maturity and determination our Year 12 students have shown throughout the year. We can't wait to see them continue to grow over the coming months and look forward to celebrating everything they achieve as they approach the end of their school journey.
