Year 10 Camps
This week students in Year 10 are attending the 2026 Snow Trip & Queensland Trip or completing work experience.
The trips have been a fantastic success and I extend a big thank you to all staff who attended, and for the leadership of Mr Offer, Ms McQueen, Mr Nield, and Mr Hose in coordinating and managing the trips.
The opportunity to complete work experience is something the College encourages all eligible students to undertake as it is a great lead in to understanding the workforce and what jobs really look like. I would like to publicly thank all of the businesses who support our students, it is truly appreciated. Thank you also to Genni Smith for her commitment to following up paperwork and supporting students in finding places to investigate their dreams.
Preparing for 2027
Information regarding our Subject Selection Days is as follows:
Year 10 into 11 Information Evening: July 27th 6:30 – 7:30
Year 7, 8, 9 & 11 Subject Selection Day: July 29th 11:30 – 6:15
Year 10 into 11 Subject Selection Day: August 5th 11:30 – 6:15
A physical copy of the Subject Selection Book, including a letter which outlines booking details and times, was provided to students last week during Form Group. A digital copy of the 2027 Subject Selection Book will also be available from our website.
It is important that all students entering Year 11 understand the different pathways available to them. It is also important that all students and their families take the time to carefully work through their subject preferences, as this information is used to develop the 2027 timetable.
