🟦 Formal Graduation dinner at Flowerdale Estate
We said our final farewells to the graduating class of 2025 on Thursday 20th November with a formal dinner at Flowerdale Estate. It was a fabulous night full of celebration, relief and joy. We wished our 36 students farewell as they move out into the world as the first graduates of St Mary’s College in 38 years. We were lucky enough to hear from Annabelle Cleeland, MP and Member for Euroa, who gave the group some great advice about life and achieving their goals. Also present was President of the college board Mr Andrew Graham and MACs representative Ms Laura Ruddick.
Each student was presented with their VCE certificate and we enjoyed a beautiful meal together before hitting the dancefloor. A huge thank you to Mrs Allison Moore for her hard work creating the stunning floral table centre pieces, to Mrs Kimberlee Garner for her help behind the scenes assisting with set up and to Mrs Andrea Webster for her beautiful design and creation of the graduation certificates.
Farewell Year 12’s 2025, we will miss you!
🟦 HeadStart 2026
As the end of the year approached in the senior end of the school, there was a lot happening! HeadStart was completed for our 2026 Year 12 and 11 students, where they had two weeks of Year 11 & 12 classes. Students worked through introductory materials and course work to get a head start on their year ahead in VCE. This also included access to Edrolo, the online resource program which is vital in assisting students with their studies.
All VCE students received their booklist and if relevant, a letter from Edrolo and parents would have received the same in an email from myself. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either the booklist or subscription process, please get in touch with myself or the Office for assistance. Please note, not every subject in Year 11 requires Edrolo and students completing the VM do not require Edrolo. The booklist outlines all subject requirements for both texts and Edrolo.
🟦 Year 12 2026 jumpers
Students will vote on their Year 12 2026 jumper design. Once they have selected their preference, we will then send the design to the manufacturer and will then inform families of pricing, payment details and expected delivery dates. We would anticipate that the jumpers are ready for the end of Term One, 2026 but this process is dependent on all payments coming in by the due date. More details about this will follow!
🟦 Last day for Year 11 and 12 (2026) / Holiday homework
All VCE students will be receiving holiday homework and it is an expectation that this is completed before their return next year. It is also really important that students have their textbooks purchased before we return for 2026 and if moving into Year 11, their VCE uniform also needs to be purchased from Outback in Seymour (uniform suppliers). All uniform information and return dates can be found on the college website.
