Product Design and Materials and Technology  

Once again, the students of St Marys have shown their creative talents to produce a variety of products in the various year levels.  As usual students had to work through the design process and align within the constraints and considerations of a design brief.  

This allows then to use problem solving and speculative thinking skills to work in out the most viable solutions to be designed and made. Students had access to most tools and equipment used in the workshop to safely create their bespoke items. 

The photos and smiles are evidence of a semester full of development in skills and learning about properties of materials and how to adapt through divergent thinking.
