You Can Sit With Me Day - Friday, 6th June 2025

Today we had a very special event at school – YOU CAN SIT WITH ME Day, this year was even more meaningful as we mark the 10th birthday of the  kindness and inclusion movement!

YOU CAN SIT WITH ME is all about creating a school culture where everyone feels welcome, valued, and included. No one should ever have to feel alone at school –and together, we can make sure they don’t. 

How celebrated:

To mark this milestone birthday, we invited all students and staff to join in a fun, joyful day full of yellow and kindness!

💛 Wear a Touch of Yellow

Whether it’s a yellow shirt, a ribbon, socks or hat – show your support by wearing a splash of yellow.

💛 Whole School Lunchtime Picnic

Bring a picnic lunch and join together in the playground for a shared picnic. It’s a wonderful way to connect, make new friends, and practice kindness.

💛 Friday School Assembly

As we do on a Friday, we will come together for a special assembly to celebrate 10 years of YOU CAN SIT WITH ME, and reflect on how we can continue to look out for one another.
