Please keep our candidates making their First Reconciliation in the coming week in your prayers, as they receive the mercy and forgiveness of Our Lord.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place on Tuesday 10th June at 4pm and Thursday 12th June at 6pm.
A Prayer for Reconciliation Candidates
Loving and merciful God, We come before You today with grateful hearts, as these candidates prepare to experience Your boundless forgiveness and grace.
Bless them with courage and humility, that they may recognize their mistakes and seek Your healing love. Fill their hearts with peace, knowing that Your mercy is endless and Your arms are always open in love and welcome.
May this sacred moment be one of renewal, where they grow closer to You and embrace the path of goodness and kindness. Help them to understand the power of forgiveness—both in receiving it and offering it to others.
Guide their minds and hearts as they confess their sins, knowing that Your love wipes away all fear and brings them into Your light. Strengthen their faith so that they may continue to walk in Your ways, trusting in Your presence throughout their lives.
We ask this in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
