Parents are invited to provide feedback on their experience at our school using an online survey - Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning Survey. The survey is an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.
The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Parents are able to access the parent survey on their computer or mobile device by using the URL below:
The survey is accessible to parents now.
The survey will close on Friday 13th June.
Semester One student reports will be published in Week 9 on Friday 27th June via COMPASS.
Parents, this is a special time for you to praise the efforts of your child for the school year. The level of effort a child puts into their work is important to acknowledge in addition to the level of performance grade awarded. Praise this where appropriate.
Parent teacher interviews to discuss your child’s Semester One report during Week Ten can be booked via the COMPASS portal - Community- Conferences.
The interview booking schedule will be available for parents via COMPASS from Monday 23rd June.
The Parent/Teacher Interviews are 10 minutes in duration.
Parent Teacher Interview dates:
Week 10 -
Wednesday 2nd July - 3.15pm-5.00pm
Friday 4th July - 8.30am-2.30pm
Note: Friday the 4th July is a Staff Development Day.
Students from Years 3 to 6 are invited to attend the interview to discuss their achievement of Semester One goals.
Our school’s next Staff Development Day is scheduled for Friday 4th July. On this day teachers will be conducting Parent / Teacher Interviews to discuss your child’s Semester One Report.
Monday 21st July in Term 3, is also a Staff Development Day, where our Staff will engage in a Spirituality Day, which will be held off site.
There are many students arriving at school early in the morning prior to school supervision which commences at 8.20am. Parents, please be aware that if your child arrives on the premises prior to supervision times, that there may be no adult available for any safety concerns. We encourage all students to arrive at school during supervision times.
Students are reminded to leave their mobile phones and smart watches at the office in the morning before school commences and to collect them at the end of the school day.
Parents please remind your child that they are not to email you via their device during the school day. This is stated in the Technology Agreement signed by parents and students at the beginning of the school year.
If your child is not well or if there is a change to dismissal procedures this information will be communicated by the school office.
Parents please be reminded that students should not be dropped off in the morning or collected in the afternoon via parking in Burn’s Lane. Not only does stopping in this area add to the traffic congestion as cars leave the school premises but it is dangerous for so many families who use Burn’s Lane to walk their students onto the school grounds.
Parents please ensure that your child is coming to school wearing the correct winter uniform. This includes boys wearing long sleeve shirts with long pants/shorts, grey socks and black school shoes.
Girls are to wear their winter tunic/navy pants with navy socks or tights and black school shoes.
The school’s sports uniform is only to be worn on scheduled sports days. Students are to wear white or black sport shoes with white sports socks.
