Foundation News 

Our Foundation Mass will be held on Friday the 13th June at 11.30. You are welcome to attend with us on that day. Father Junjun will then accompany the children back to class for a special chat.  

Please ensure that your child is at school as close to 8.30 as possible on their check-in day. If you are unsure of what day your child has their check-in please contact their teacher.  

Now that the weather is getting cooler, please make sure that all jumpers and jackets are labelled with your child's name. We have already had many jackets and jumpers go home in the wrong bag and unless they are labelled, we have no way of identifying who they belong to.  

In maths we have started a new unit on shapes. Please encourage your child to identify shapes you may see at home or out and about to consolidate this learning. 

We have added some new sounds and tricky words to your child's keyring. These tricky words can also be found at the back of the white reading diary. Please take the time to practice some of these when you are reading with your child.
